UBER DRIVER DIES SHORTLY AFTER PICKING UP RIDER, LIKELY OVERWORKED HIMSELF

60 year old Uber driver Wang Yong Qing passed away after overworking himself.

On 28 Sep, Wang picked up his rider near the airport on 28 Sep and felt unwell halfway through the journey. His passenger had to call for the ambulance to send him to Changi General Hospital, where he eventually passed on.

Mr Wang had probably overworked himself as he reportedly took on 2 jobs. He would drive Uber in the evenings up till 1am every day on top of his main job. Although he used to be in the pink of health, his brother said it has been increasingly difficult to wake him up in the mornings.

Poor man literally slogged his life away. #RIP.
