BODY FOUND IN WATERS OFF SENGKANG PARK

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Police have confirmed that a body have been found in the water beside Sengkang Riverside Park on Friday morning. Police were already seen in the area as early as 7:20 am.

A blue tent normally used by police to cover bodies was placed along a cycling and jogging track across the canal from Sengkang Riverside Park, near Sengkang Sports Centre. A police cordon stretching about 300m had also been set up. Residents and joggers were turned away from the cordon and have to make big detour into the residential areas which are a few hundred metres away.

The Police and SCDF have yet to comment on the case.
