WILD BOAR CAUSED ACCIDENT AT AYE, TWO TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

Dear A.S.S. Editor

A wild boar caused an accident on the AYE after the Tuas Checkpoint early on Thursday morning, and caused a traffic accident that sent two to hospital and killed the animal. Photos circulating online showed a dead wild boar lying on the road, with a group of motorcyclists surrounding a man lying on the road.

According to reports, the accident happened at about 7:15 am, approximately 500 m away from the Checkpoint. SCDF confirmed that they received a report of an accident on the AYE around 7:24 am, and dispatched an ambulance to the scene. A male motorcyclist and his female pillion rider were taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, although their injuries were not revealed.
