CAPTAIN OBVIOUS AWARDS: NEA SAYS BURNING SMELL CAUSED BY WIND

The National Environment Agency has won the Captain Obvious Awards 2017 for publishing a Facebook post about their findings on the chemical burning smell that clouded parts of North Eastern Singapore yesterday.

According to the NEA post, the smell, which many netizens claim started at about 5PM yesterday, was caused by "some convergence of winds over the northern half of Singapore, which might have led to an accumulation of smells in the northern area of Singapore."

It also reported that PSI levels were within healthy levels yesterday.
