SMRT TO RUN JOHOR-SINGAPORE TRANSIT SYSTEM LINK… WE’RE SCREWED

SMRT to operate JB-Singapore Transit System Link, despite having performed poorly on main MRT line in S'pore.

 

Those who take the line in future, get ready to:

1. walk along the rail across the Straits of Johor when the train breaks down half way on the track;

2. hear the announcement: "This train will stop here for a short while because the train ahead is still in Johor Bahru"; and

3. practise entering and exiting the train in rapid time with your travel bags because the train doors will close on you "automatically" without warning.
