After numerous complaints lodged by Singaporeans living in Sengkang, Hougang, Buangkok, Bishan and Ang Mo Kio today, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and National Environment Agency have mobilized resources to investigate the source of the burning odor.
The SCDF statement read: “SCDF deployed its resources to investigate. There has been no confirmed incident. SCDF and NEA are closely monitoring the situation.”
According to netizens, the burning smell started at about 5PM and was different from the usual haze.
