WAITING TIME AT HOSPITAL TOO LONG, EVEN THOUGH APPOINTMENT WAS MADE EARLY

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Not the first time going for a doctor’s appointment at Changi Hospital so I am aware all those before me may have tolerated the long queue but I was told when asked about my 11:40 am appointment delay to 12:15 pm. I was told tat “it is not even one hour delay!

Anyway, there were many patients so I just have to wait. Ok I am waiting and it is up to 1 pm, but still no signs of me being called to see the doctor. And then, from where I am sitting down, I saw this notice board right in front of the counter staff “Mutual Respect – our employees deserve respect. ” Here I am, my appointment time supposed to be 11:40 am, and now past 1 pm and still no sign of the doctor, so now I am wondering how about the hospital showing us some mutual respect for the time some of us took off from work and some took time off from things to do at home.

Surely better time management and effort in enhancing the system is in order. Mutual respect goes both ways, right?
