Dear A.S.S. Editor
The SCDF has called off a search operation underwater which they had undertaken for more than three hours yesterday, after they responded to a suspected case of drowning at Palawan Beach in Sentosa.
SCDF confirmed that they were alerted to the incident at 2:50pm on Thursday. It was reported that the Sentosa’s Beach Patrol officers had first responded to a request for assistance from a member of the public at Palawan Beach at 2:30pm. It was understood that eyewitnesses saw a pair of hands waving in the water, and heard someone shouting for help.
No other details were made available, and there have been no reports so far of a missing person in Sentosa.
