A middle-aged woman was seen wailing and demanding money from passengers on board bus 197 from Jurong to Bedok.
The woman reportedly made a ruckus by constantly asking people to give her money. She cried that she needed money for her Chinese medicine, had no money to eat or take the bus home (except she’s already on the bus?)
She only got off the bus after a kind soul relented and gave her $5. Afterwards, she still approached other people at the bus stop to ask for money.
Passengers said her dressing looked normal but she seemed too emotional and might need psychiatric help.
What’s up with society nowadays? Too stressed?
