PARKOUR ENTHUSIAST REMORSEFUL AFTER SCALING MALL’S GLASS ROOF, POLICE INVESTIGATING

Parkour enthusiast Koh Chen Pin aka Denester has apologised for recklessly climbing the glass roof of Simei’s Eastpoint mall. “I’m aware that some activities seen in the video are inappropriate and I deeply regret my actions.”

He has removed the video of him and other parkour enthusiasts performing stunts on top of the roof but someone has nevertheless lodged a police report against him. The police are investigating.

Eastpoint mall responded that the roof is not ideal for such activities and said it will enhance security measures to deter similar acts of mischief.

As for parkour enthusiasts, a committee is currently being set up to review guidelines on what they should avoid. While parkour is not illegal, these thrill-seeking young adults should at least know their boundaries.
