SUN XUELING SLAMS LIFT TECHNICIAN WHO WENT MISSING FOR 3.5 HOURS, SERVICE LIFT TIL BREAKDOWN

In a Facebook post to show that she means business, Member of Parliament Sun Xueling has posted her disappointment with a lift technician's sub-par servicing standards for lifts in her Punggol ward, criticizing the service provider of going missing for 3.5 hours during duty and of performing a servicing only for the lift to break down the very next day.

After her post was made, residents in the affected residences in Arcadia and Regalia continued to pepper her comments feed with instances where lift technicians had erred, with one netizen accusing the lift technician of simply marking off a check list without doing any real maintenance.

"My clan building got one lift technician who just put tick marks on the maintenance form. He was not aware the emergency bell was faulty and there was no sound," wrote one Kang H Ching. "I waited for the next servicing and see their service form. There was a tick mark on emergency bell line. Call and scold them."
