MRT STAFF TOLD WOMAN SHE NEEDS TO BE SMART ENOUGH TO TOP-UP CARD USING MACHINE

I have been scolded by one of MRT officer at Haw Par Villa station on 25 August 2017, because I was doing ezlink top up at counter instead of using top up machine.

Suddenly this guy was coming over me and yelled “Hi using machine, don’t buy here..this is smart country, you must be smart!!!”

So many people there pay attention because that time was peak hour.

I really upset and need your answers for my questions below :

1. Is it procedure how “smart country” treats other people?
2. Is it againts the law in “smart country” to do ezlink top up at counter instead of using machine?
3. If people cannot use that counter, why you build a counter there?
4. How come public service do something like that? Eventhough I’m foreigner here but I also pay the tax and I obey the law and rule here.
