ANOTHER MRT BREAKDOWN ON WEDNESDAY MORNING

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Just when you thought the MRT breakdowns are no more an in thing, this morning, SMRT tries to remind the public again that breakdowns are part of our lives. An east-bound stretch of the East-West Line (EWL) has been affected by a track fault at Redhill station on Wednesday morning.

SMRT tweeted at 8.13am that commuters should expect an additional 10 minutes of travel time from Jurong East to Redhill stations. This was later revised to 15 minutes. The fault is not linked to the new signalling project, it added.

So, breakdowns are still part of our daily commuting issues. Luckily, this time round, there is no exams for the poor students to content with.
