WP FILES URGENT PARLIAMENTARY QUESTION ON PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

The Workers' Party's member of parliament for Aljunied, Sylvia Lim, has filed an adjournment motion in parliament on the Presidential Election, citing the need for the government to further clarify its stance on counting the Elected Presidency from President Wee Kim Wee instead of President Ong Teng Cheong's term.
 
An adjournment motion is meant to bring urgent attention to a particular issue of public importance in parliament.
