An 18 year old teen have been arrested, for trying to extort money from a woman he had sex with, by threatening to upload a video of them having sex if she did transfer $100 to him. Police said that a 19 year old woman had filed a police report against this “Online Acquaintance”, after he tried to extort the money from her.
Police from the Ang Mo Kio Division conducted inquiries on the ground and subsequently arrested the youth at Bedok North Street 3. He will be charged in court today, and if found guilty of attempted extortion, he can be jailed for at least two years and caned.
