A student discovered that the false ceiling at Lecture Theatre 1 of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) collapsed yesterday morning.
The collapse has prompted the university to conduct safety checks on all the other lecture theaters.
The student discovered the collapsed celing at 9.16AM on Monday. No classes were being held when the ceiling collapsed and no injuries were reported, said a NTU spokesperson.
