CROCODILE SIGHTED AT CHANGI BEACH, DAYS AFTER ONE WAS SPOTTED AT PASIR RIS

Dear A.S.S. Editor

From Pasir Ris Beach, to Changi Beach. Another crocodile sighting was reported, this time at Changi Beach. Warning signs have already been put up in Changi Beach Park after the reported sighting of crocodile in the area. The signs were understood to have been up since Monday.

It was an ICA officer who first raised the alarm, when Mr Yusaini Abdul Rahim, 41, who was working at the Changi Ferry Terminal, saw the crocodile on Monday morning while out on patrol. He contacted the AVA and NParks to inform them about the sighting. He spotted the crocodile again on Wednesday, and took photos and videos of it.

It is not known if the crocodile spotted at Changi Beach was the same crocodile which was spotted at Pasir Ris Beach. The public have been advised to remain vigilant, and to stay calm and back away slowly if they come across the crocodile.
