UNPROFESSIONAL PRC BUS DRIVER RAISE HIS VOICE & FORCE MY KID TO PAY ADULT FARE

Hi A.S.S.,

I boarded SMRT bus 913 with plate number TIB 1091M on Saturday, 19 August 2017 at roughly around 2308hrs opposite Admiralty MRT station with my wife, daughter and younger brother. I was carrying my daughter’s stroller while my wife was with my daughter in front of me.

Driver was a CHINAMAN.

Driver told my wife that my daughter has to pay adult fare because of her height is 120cm. But I insisted she was not even 105cm so I should pay student fare instead but driver still insisted for her to pay for the adult fare.

I told my wife to move in behind first since bus was full and we were blocking the entrance while I took out the coins.

While my wife was moving in behind, the CHINAMAN (thinking that my wife wanted to evade paying for my daughter), SHOUTED at MY WIFE to pay for the fare.

Since he had shouted at my wife, I SHOUTED back at the CHINAMAN to say that I AM taking out the coins.

Then we quarelled VERBALLY but NO ASSAULT took place.

The CHINAMAN was not being professional and when I alighted at my destination 2 stops away, I made a police report.
