Dear A.S.S. Editor
The LTA has announved that Uber has recalled all 1,220 faulty Honda Vezels registered under them, and had the fire-prone parts fixed.
The LTA has confirmed that all of Lion City Rental’s Honda Vezels have been rectified. Lion City Rental is fully owned by Uber, and are the biggest provider of rental cars for Uber’s Singapore operations. The rectification comes just two weeks after news broke that Uber had knowingly rented out the faulty Vezels to their drivers.
However, it is still not clear how Uber managed to fix all 1,220 cars in such a short time. LTA however, reassured motorists that they have been closely monitoring the recall and rectification process for all affected Honda Vezels in Singapore.
