A shop owner of a store at Bugis Street is looking for a young woman of Indian descent who shoplifted from his store on 11 August at about 9.20PM.
Her blatant act of theft while walking out of the store with an unpaid skirt was caught on CCTV and by a fellow shopper, who alerted the sales girl on duty about the incident.
In the video, the woman could be seen looking around suspiciously before walking away without paying, skirt in hand and in full view of shoppers and CCTV.
"I hope that she comes back to return or pay for the skirt," wrote the netizen. "I also want to warn other shopkeepers about her."
