UNCLE IN TOA PAYOH HAWKER HARASSMENT CASE SAID HE HAS FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN

Dear A.S.S. Editor

The old uncle who was at the centre of the Toa Payoh Lorong 8 hawker shoving incident have accepted the apologies from the couple.

Mr Ng Ai Hua, 76, had been verbally abused and in some instance, even physically harrased by Mr Chow Chuin Yee and Ms Tay Puay Leng. Both the couple were fined for their acts, and they had expressed their desire to apologise to the uncle, in a video that has since gone viral.

However, in an act that others, especially the couple, should learn from, the uncle said that there is no need to meet face to face to apologise, as the couple had already been punished for their actions, and everyone should just forgive and forget.
