A netizen, Marcus, shared his unhappy experience in ordering food from FoodPanda, which not only delayed his order by up to 14 hours (!) but also cancelled his order without giving him an explanation or offering any compensation.
According to the netizen, he had ordered from Carls Jr. at 9.30PM one night. He clicked on the order and completed the purchase, but was shocked to see the wait time of 837 minutes or the equivalent of 14 hours for his food.
Sensing something amiss, he tried to contact the FoodPanda customer service but could not get through. He learnt from the app that the food at Carls Jr was already prepared but he could not receive it because no one from FoodPanda was picking it up.
The netizen is still trying to contact FoodPanda for a refund.
