DRUNK LORRY DRIVER CAUSED ACCIDENT, NO OTHER VEHICLES INVOLVED

Dear A.S.S. Editor

How can like this? A lorry driver was arrested on Sunday afternoon for alleged drink driving offences. The 22 year old was involved in an accident along TPE towards PIE while exiting Upper Changi Road North.

Police were alerted to the incident at about 3:23 pm, and investigations are currently ongoing. It was understood that the driver was driving along the road when he lost control of the vehicle and collided into the centre guard rail located near the exit.

Photos of the accident showed the yellow lorry sitting diagonally across the second lane of the road, with its front badly damaged and windows smashed. SCDF said the man suffered abrasions and lacerations, but refused to be taken to hospital.
