27 Y.O. TAXI THIEF WHO STOLE $450 ARRESTED BY JURONG POLICE

The 27 year-old man who stole $450 from an unsuspecting taxi driver, worth $450 or 3 days' worth of earnings, has been arrested by police officers from the Jurong Police Division yesterday.
 
A video of the 27 year-old's misdeeds went viral on social media this week after it was posted online. In the video, the man could be seen taking the wallet of the elderly taxi driver, removing cash out of the wallet and placing it in his own pocket.
 

 
 
Singapore Police Force officers located the man through CCTV footage and "extensive enquiries".
 
If convicted, the man faces up to 3 years in jail, a fine or both for theft.
