Netizen Christopher Lim shared a notice by the Sengkang HDB office refer to HDB owners as flat lessees. He questioned if this was proof that Singaporeans no longer owned their flat but instead was only leasing it from the Government.

If Singaporeans are not the owners but lessees, then why are we still obliged to pay Property Tax on properties which we do not own?
