Dear A.S.S. Editor
Seem like the Interim Golden Shoe Food Centre started off on a bad foot today. Despite all the publicity over the temporary food centre, it seems that fewer than 10 stalls of the 53 available there were opened on the first day today.
Long queues can be seen at each and every stall that was opened, while some other hawkers are still seen to be just moving in. There were also several stalls that were still undergoing maintenance works. To make things worse, Some hawkers said they were unable to start operating because there was no electricity at their units. It was understood that at least three rows of stalls – or around 18 stalls – were affected by power supply issues.
Seems like the temporary food centre was not ready to actually operate, but was opened anyways.
