I’m a gay freshman. Ever since I moved to the hall a few days ago, what I observed: ALL those who tried to be friendly, kind towards me, making eye contact, initiating conversation to me have been girls, women, aunties. Guys, except for one doing duty, were all indifferent, cold or even unfriendly towards me.
They don’t know my sexual orientation, nor do I dress or act in feminine way. Hence I can’t say they are homophobic. But Is this how straight guys normally treat fellow stranger guys?
(Well, this made me reflect my secondary and JC days, when nearly all those who tried be nice to me were girls, but I mostly ignored their kindness, looking back, I was such an idiot trying to be friend with boys who never wanted to be my friend.)
I guess I’m a chick-magnet, and subconsciously I’m aware but I don’t want to admit, I might be a cock-repellent, which I need most, what an irony.
