MAN ILLEGALLY CONFINED WHEELCHAIR BOUND FRIEND IN HIS HOME, FRIEND DIED ATTEMPTING TO ESCAPE VIA WINDOWS

Dear A.S.S. Editor

A drug offender had wrongfully confined his friend in his third storey flat for about 19 hours, after he mistakenly believed the man, Mr Khong Lam Swee, 62, of informing the CNB about his drug offences.

For this, Ho Chin Hin, 57, was jailed for nine months. Mr Khiong, who gets around on a wheelchair, had tried to escape by climbing out of a window in Ho’s Eunos Crescent flat. Unfortunately, he fell to the ground below, and died of multiple injuries despite being rushed to the hospital. Ho is already serving a five years and three months sentence for his drug offence, and will now add the nine months more to his sentence.
