A netizen was waiting for his girlfriend at the void deck of a Housing & Development Board (HDB) flat. When his girlfriend came out of her house, she was almost struck by falling rubbish thrown from one of the units above his flat!
The problem has been plaguing this block for some time. However, without enough evidence, neighbors have not been able to identify the culprit.
The netizen wrote: “Its very inconsiderate as it will hit others when they walk pass. I was waiting for my gf so happens that when she walk out the rubbish was thrown on the floor.”
In past cases, the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Town Council require residents to provide photographic or video proof of the culprit being caught in the act before any enforcement action can be taken.
