The SBS driver who bulldozed 4 motorcyclists had reportedly stepped on the wrong pedal while waiting for the lights to turn green. According to news reports, he panicked and tried to swerve right in order to avoid hitting the motorcyclists although it was too late.
The driver has been suspended as investigations are ongoing. The incident happened around the Labrador Outdoor Adventure Centre and caused 2 motorcyclists and a pillion rider to be hospitalised. They have since been discharged.
A spokesperson from SBS Transit also apologised for inconveniencing commuters and distressing other road users.
Step on wrong pedal? Got pass driving test or not! Luckily their injuries weren’t serious man.
