A netizen and his girlfriend were chasing down SMRT bus 167 at Prudential Tower but were rudely surprised when the bus refused to open the doors for them when they reached and simply drove off despite their pleas to get on.
The incident took place on 21 July on 8.03PM at Prudential Tower bus stop 03021.
According to the netizen, they had already reached the side of the bus and were knocking on the door of the bus with their hands and phones, but the bus driver appeared to be ignoring them.
The couple later lodged a complaint with SMRT’s customer relations, who said they would pass the incident to their investigation department for further action.
The netizen wrote: “We need a compensation from the Bus no.167 and the driver got to pay for our things, it’s so disappointing that the commuters don’t even help us.”
