ANOTHER BRAWL TOOK PLACE AT TEOCHEW PORRIDGE RESTAURANT, THIS TIME 6 PEOPLE ARRESTED

Dear A.S.S. Editor

The Teochew Porridge Restaurant which was in the news quite recently for a drunken disturbance by four people, was in the news again for the wrong reasons. Yet another drunken brawl involving customers occurred there.

This time around, diners at Heng Long Teochew Porridge which is located at Upper Serangoon Road, were interrupted by two groups of customers fighting in the early hours of Sunday morning. The police were alerted to the case at 3:26am, and arrested six people between the ages of 25 and 40 at the scene.

A 31 year old man was injured in the brawl, and he was taken to hospital conscious. The brawl was apparently started by a disagreement between two male diners at different tables. Witnesses said that two women tried to stop the fight, but were unsuccessful. Police arrived between 5 to 10 minutes later to make the arrests.
