PRC MAN ATTEMPTS TO SCAM S’POREAN, GETS OUTSMARTED & RUNS WHEN POLICE CALLED IN

I wanna share something that happened today at about 10pm, near to Dhoby Ghaut MRT at the MacDonald building.

This PRC man well dressed in his white shirt and black pants approach me asking for $2 dollars claiming to have lost his wallet earlier at a pub while he was drinking with his friends.. He claimed that he is from Beijing China and that he is on a business trip here. He then showed me his business card… Which is obviously fake…

I then asked if he could show me his passport. But he claim that he left it in the hotel located near Orchard.

I asked if he could follow me to the MRT so that I could but the train ticket for him however he rejected me and told me to give him money in cash instead.

Something was fishy so I called for the police, straight away this guy walked off quickly.. If anyone of you guys seen this man please take a photo of him and informed the police. Most likely this PRC is a scam syndicate.
