SINGAPOREANS ARE THE THIRD OLDEST VIRGINS IN THE WORLD

Singaporeans are losing their virginity at later ages than the rest of the world. This according to condom manufacturer Durex, which ranked Singapore third in the list of countries for the average age at which people first have sex across 44 countries.

On average, Singaporeans have their first sexual experiences at 22.8 years old.

Malaysia ranks world number one at 23 years per first sexual intercourse, followed closely by India at 22.9 years.

The youngest on the list, Iceland, posts an average age of 15.6 years for first timers.

This follows a trend in Scandinavian countries, which tend to have sex at younger ages, with the average age in Denmark being 16.1, Sweden’s at 16.2 and Norway at 16.5 years.
