NETIZEN: PROHIBIT YOUNG DRIVERS FROM TAKING VOCATIONAL LICENCE, THEY CAUSE ACCIDENTS

Dear Editors,

Young Drivers below age of 30 and without 5 years driving experience should not be allowed to take any vocational license!

It is very irritating to see them driving buses, trucks and private hire cars recklessly! 1 life lost is 1 too many, if they drive a car can cause 1 casualty, then how about driving a bus, that will be 40 casualties at least!

LTA must act now to ensure the safety of all passengers and motorists on the roads. Please change the requirements for all applicants of all vocational license to 30 or at least 5 years experience, I have taken cars, taxis and buses driven by young and/or inexperienced drivers and they should be trained.

I demand LTA can look into the above and also imposing vocational license for grabhitch and ryde too and prohibit young drivers from the expressways.
