LTA PLAINCLOTHES OFFICERS ON THE PROWL FOR ILLEGALLY PARKED MOTORBIKES

A netizen has shared an image of a plainclothes Land Transport Authority (LTA) enforcement officer taking photographs of illegally parked motorcycles at Jurong.

The photo was taken at 9PM in an undisclosed parking lot in Jurong.

According to the netizen, the LTA officer was targeting bikes that were parked out of the designated lots. Previously, netizens had also submitted accounts of receiving LTA or Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) summons for parking illegally in motorcycle lots at Orchard Road.

The netizen wrote: “Being a motor rider myself I would urge all fellow rider not to park your motorbike out of the designated parking lots to avoid fine from the authorities. You wouldn’t know when and where would they appear at! As you can see in the picture all he has to do is to take a photo of your motorbike and lodge it for submission.”
