60 SCDF HEROES WORK THROUGH THE NIGHT TO SAVE WORKERS AFTER UNFINISHED HIGHWAY COLLAPSED

Dear Editors,

I am so upset to read an uncompleted highway structure at Upper Changi Road collapsed causing the death of 1 man and injuring 10 others. How could such a thing still happen in Singapore when we have such modern technology to prevent such collapses?

However kudos to the SCDF team of 60 officers who braved the unstable collapsed structure to help rescue the trapped or injured workers. SCDF is truly the team that works everyday to protect our lives and not for wayang only.

Thank you SCDF for risking your lives to rescue the innocents and thank God you made it home safely after a tough day at work. You deserve our utmost respect and praise! It is their job but its a very risky job with little recognition.
