NETIZEN PAID 9 DOLLARS FOR THIS CHAR KWAY TEOW @ GURNEY DRIVE

A netizen has shared a photograph of a miserable untouched box of Char Kway Teow purchased from a Gurney Drive restaurant.

The shocking thing about the food is that it cost the netizen 9 dollars for such a smaller portion of food and ingredients.

Netizens who saw the picture were outraged about the lack of effort displayed by the store. Others even thanked the netizen for his “sacrifice” in buying the food and warning the others about the poor quantity.

After the netizen shared his bad experience, another netizen also shared a scathing review of the food at the stall: “Sorry for the disappointment, I experienced it myself. Their BBQ stingray is 1 part fish 9 parts ammonia. Cold when served. Rojak that is utterly foul. Cut fruits and veg oxidised, wasn’t even mixed, everything was just dumped together and served. Pathetic dine-in customer service, not sure if it depends on locale. Only redeeming point was the durian chendol.”
