MRT COMMUTER GETS CAUGHT IN MRT DELAY, THEN GETS CHARGED EXTRA DUE TO ADMIN FAULT

This happened to me in the morning of 11 Jul 2017 during rush hour when I am going into the gantry to MRT to go for work. There was error resulted from not tapping out the ez-link card upon check out. This was due to the official TRAIN FAULT of East-West Line from Buona Vista to Bugis on 10 Jul 2017 evening which resulted me prematurely ended my journey at queenstown mrt exiting from the side gate ushered by the smrt transport staff and we were informed not to tap out. It wasn’t even my intention to exit at queenstown mrt but the train keep moving and stopping which force me to no choice. My destination was supposed to be Bugis MRT.

As a result of this non tap out of ez-link card, I was denied from accessing to MRT ride for TRAIN FAULT NOT CAUSED BY MYSELF? Ended up I have to go control office and the staff actually demanded me to pay $0.75 for the “non tap out upon exit” penalty. The staff repeated 3 times thinking that I will pay $0.75 but I refused to pay and justified my reasons for not paying since it was not my fault. Staff so called end up unwillingly “paying” for my $0.75 and informed me that he paid for me.
