In a move to copy Singapore’s Government favourite phrase, Indonesia had decided to ownself praise ownself, as their Minister said that the results that Indonesia have taken to battle the haze was extraordinary.
To his credit, there actually is prove that the number of hotspots that will lead to the haze has dropped, from thousands to now numbering in their hundreds only. Indonesia has also promised that the 2015 thick haze incident will not be reported this year.
So, Indonesia have been working hard to tackle the forest fires, started intentionally or not, and to good effect too. So far, Singaporeans have not complained about haze this year. Guess that means we have to thank Indonesia for the clean air that we are having all year round.
