DISCOLOURATION OF WATER SUPPLY IN SELETAR AREA SHOWS HOW PRECIOUS CLEAN WATER IS, JUSTIFYING WATER TAX HIKE

PUB is leaving nothing to chance to let Singaporeans know the importance of water, and how precious they are. In another reminder to Singaporeans, several residents in Nim Drive and Stratton Park found discoloured waters coming out of their taps.

PUB confirmed that the discoloured waters was caused by pipe works in the area. About 20 complaints were made to PUB about the discolourd water, and PUB sent three water wagons to provide those affected with temporary water supply.

The water supply was normalised by 8:43, in the evening but PUB advised that some residents may still experience discolouration.
