Dear A.S.S. Editor
An accident along SLE involving three vehicles on Monday caused a man to be trapped in the driver’s seat of one of the vehicles. A tipper truck, a lorry and a van were involved in the accident towards BKE before the Lentor Exit.
SCDF rescued the trapped man, believed to be the driver of the lorry, using hydraulic tools. The lorry driver, 68 and a van driver, 63, were both taken conscious to the hospital. The accident caused a jam that lasted up to two hours.
No details were given on how the accident happened, but this raise more calls for heavy vehicles to stop using the expressways due to the speed these drivers drive up to.
