ILLEGAL BAZAAR BY PAP TOWN COUNCIL OK, CNY BAZAAR BY AHTC CANNOT

The MSM today reported on an illegal bazaar featuring more than 20 stalls that ran for three days last weekend at Bedok North Ave 4 and how the NEA had taken action against the organiser.

 

Conspicuously missing in the report and NEA's statement was any mention of the Fengshan SMC Town Council or its PAP MP Cheryl Chan.

 

This report contrasts sharply with the major coverage that both NEA and the MSM lapdogs gave to the actions taken against AHTC in 2014.

 

If you recall, in the AHTC case, NEA had even sent its officers down to Hougang SMC on Chinese New Year Eve to raid the stalls in an attempt to spoil the CNY mood for residents there who had bravely voted for WP.

 

So why the silence now on the Fengshan SMC case?

 

Are we supposed to believe that a major bazaar can take place right in the heart of the estate without the PAP town council and its MP knowing about it?
