The monster of a mother, who had assaulted her four year old son so badly until he died, had her prison term extended from 8 years to 14.5 years, after the prosecution appealed.
Noraidah Mohd Yussof, 35, had pushed her son repeatedly, causing him to hit his head on the floor. She also trampled on him, and grabbed him by the neck and lifted him while pushing him against the wall. The boy subsequently died from injuries suffered from the brutal beating, which included a fractured skull and bleeding in the brain.
The monster mum had apparently punished him severely because he failed to recite the numbers 11 to 18 correctly in Malay. As a mother, she had a duty and obligation to protect her young son, and yet her act of cruelty cruelly cut short his young life. She has been reported to have started abusing the boy when he was just two years old. The boy had previous injuries which included fractures in his elbow, calf and four ribs, as well as multiple bruises.
The monster also has an elder daughter. Reports did not indicate where the father of the children was.
