PHILIPPINE MILITARY CLAIMS IT FOUND BODY OF S’POREAN FIGHTER IN MARAWI

The Philippine military believe they have recovered the body of a Singaporean fighter involved in the Marawi conflict even though it has not completed the identification process. The man was among 11 other foreign fighters who were killed amidst carrying out terror-related activities.

There are reportedly other foreign fighters in the conflict zone of Marawi as Philippine troops continue to retaliate in regaining control of the city. The conflict has caused more than 400 deaths of civilians, security forces and militants.
