It is a common sight in Singapore for Chinese couples to play gatecrashing games during their wedding day. However, it might not be so fortunate for a couple at Woodlands when their bridal car was shot with pellets during the gatecrashing game. It seemed that the neighbourhood is unable to withstand the noises from the game which resulted in the unfortunate incident. God bless the couple.
This is the full story.
A person fired pellets at wedding groomsmen’s vehicles yesterday (1 July) morning while a couple was celebrating their wedding by holding a gatecrashing ceremony in the morning.
The gatecrashing ceremony is a traditional custom in local Chinese weddings and usually involves a group of groomsmen and bridesmaids participating in short games and activities.
The pellets were allegedly fired at around 7AM at Block 762, Woodlands Avenue 6. Two of the vehicles were struk by the pellets, cracking windscreens and damaging the frame of the vehicles.
Police investigations are ongoing.
