KHAW BOON WAN AND DESMOND QUEK SHAKING LEGS, MRT TRAINS BREAKDOWN EVERY DAY

Commuters in Singapore had experienced disruptions to train service for the past few days. Transport Minister, Khaw Boon Wah and SMRT CEO Desmond Quek have not come out to make any statement on the breakdowns. This has caused many unhappiness for their silence.

A reddit user xinjiaporen had even suggest to organize a protest or sit-in at Speaker’s Corner for the recent breakdowns. Any form of protest will not improve the situation. SMRT have to expedite their process of managing the new signalling system and reduce the number of breakdowns. Meanwhile, commuters have to bear with the situation in order to have an improved transportation system.
