MAID SUSPECTED OF BEDOK RESERVOIR DOUBLE MURDER FLED TO INDONESIA

Dear A.S.S. Editor

The maid suspected in the double murder case in Bedok Reservoir, in which two elderly couples were found dead in separate areas of their house, is believed to have fled Singapore for an Indonesian Island. The couple were found and pronounced dead on Wednesday afternoon.

Media reports stated that the maid is a suspect in the murder case, and she had been living with the couple for about a month. She was believed to have fled via the Harbourfront Centre on Wednesday, buying a ticket for the first available boats out. Based on information on the Singapore Cruise website, ferries were available to two Indonesian destinations: Batam or Tanjung Balai on Great Karimun Island.

Police are still investigating the case.
