Police were called in at 3.40PM today to a case of double death at a Bedok Reservoir Housing & Development Board estate.
The incident took place at a unit located on the second floor of Block 717.
According to witnesses, police were called in after a commotion at an elderly couple’s HDB flat. When police arrived, they found a 77 year-old man and a 78 year-old woman lying motionless in the bedroom of their flat.
Paramedics pronounced the couple dead at the scene at 4PM.
The elderly couple’s children were not at home at the time of reporting.
Police investigations are ongoing.
