REPORTS ON TUAS MRT EXTENSION ALL POSITIVE, SO EXPECT DELAYS SOON

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Today is the first day of the official running of the Tuas MRT extension line on a weekday morning. And based on news reports, the running of the line was smooth, with no breakdowns. The extension, which opened on Sunday, got it’s first weekday test today, and so far, it’s all positive.

But, as per other train breakdowns previously, they were always preceded by news reports of how well the trains have been run, and how the breakdowns have stopped. Once they report something good, then some sort of train breakdowns or delays will happen.

So, lets hope this reports trumpeting the success of the Tuas extension will not lead to bad karma. The 100,000 or so commuters expected to use the four new stations on the line have waited long enough for this.
